Preview
It looks like La Plata junior Seth Brown will be going for the distance triple at the state meet with the 800, 1600, and 3200 with realistic shots at winning all of them. The 3,200 will be the first step for him where he is the returning champ after a sub 10 effort last year. With a 10:04 in mid-April and a state title in the fall he looks ready to defend his title in the 3,200 from last year. The biggest threat for Brown will be Linn County's Derek Wilson who placed third last year and is clearly in shape with his new 4:36 PR at Sectionals. Other contendors include the 4th place finisher from last year Darius Williamson and freshman Dustin Shoemaker who appears ready to follow his brothers footsteps with a 10:24 PR from early April.
