It's been a busy season for us here at Kansas MileSplit. Both of us are collegiate runners, Daniel at Columbia University, David at Belmont University. With track comes more events and more time to reformat those events into results that are able to be added to the database. We have had to pick and choose our battles. We have chose to focus on energy on stats and keeping the database as up to date as possible.
We have decided to expand our database and coverage beyond just High School to include Middle School. With 50 Middle School meets up with results from so far this year the Middle School database is starting to come together. The profiles created in Middle School will carry over to High School after their first High School race. We hope this adds to the depth of Kansas MileSplit. We hope this provides a better chance to track a runner throughout his or her career as well as allow viewers to see who will be the next freshman sensation.
